Eligibility

Honors courses are open to all students, and any student may pursue an honors degree.  Students with a 3.5 high school GPA and a 26 ACT are automatically enrolled or offered enrollment in the Honors 101 and Honors 201 courses. Other students who are interested also can enroll in those courses.

Students who are interested in completing all the requirements to graduate as a college Honors Scholar need to sign a  Letter of Intent, so the Registrar can track the student's progress. To express interest, contact Dr. Steven Long, honors program director.
