Misty's travel schedule

Misty McBee has been affiliated with Culver-Stockton College for more than 10 years. Originally from Brookfield, Mo., McBee received her bachelor’s degree in education with minors in music and psychology in 2002 from C-SC. Following graduation, McBee spent time teaching before finding her calling in higher education. She began in 2004 as an admission counselor and spent six years in various recruiting areas, e-communications, counselor training, transfer recruitment and international admission.

In March 2010, McBee assumed the role of financial aid coordinator at Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing in Quincy, Ill. Blessing-Rieman partners with Culver-Stockton College to offer a Bachelor of Science in nursing. In January 2011, McBee returned to Culver-Stockton as senior associate director of admission. She also oversees international admission. "I’m very elated to be back at my alma mater," explains McBee. "I particularly love being involved in the growth of enrollment at the college. I am confident that I can provide professional experience and leadership, as well as use my own personal experiences as a student to encourage students to matriculate at Culver-Stockton. With my background in financial aid, I also understand the importance of making the college affordable, and I believe the value of the investment in a college education is very important."

Misty began her Master of Science in educational administration (emphasis in leadership) in the fall of 2010 and enjoys researching for her courses. "I love applying what I’m learning in my master’s degree to what I do in admission. I really value the experiential learning I’m getting, and I am so excited that students at C-SC get this opportunity at the baccalaureate level."

In her free time, Misty enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her daughter, Layla. In addition to supporting Culver-Stockton Wildcat athletics, she loves rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals, Texas A&M football and Kansas basketball. She also has a special love for deep-sea fishing.

In 1986 Kellie was hired by Culver-Stockton to recruit students from southern Missouri. After two years she pursued her master's in education with an emphasis in counseling and college student personnel. Culver-Stockton made my dream a reality, and I want students to have the ability to fulfill their lifelong dreams."

Matt has a great passion for music and was able to take his love of music on the road with his band as they toured the nation with such acts as Lit, Veruca Salt, and (hed) p.e. "I loved my time at C-SC, and I know what it has to offer its students. I’m looking forward to bringing students to C-SC so they can have the same great experience that I had."
