Kim Uhlmeyer has been working at Culver-Stockton College in the admission office since 1985. “I guess longevity is in my blood. My father, Kline Logsdon, worked here for 26 ½ years as the director of food service and I guess I’m following in his footsteps.” As the director of admission operations, Uhlmeyer oversees the day-to-day activities of the admission staff.

When Uhlmeyer started working in admission, President Richard Valentine was the Dean of Admission and hired her temporarily to cover a staff member’s maternity leave. “I guess I did something right since they decided to keep me.”

“I am extremely pleased to be working for Mr. Valentine again. He understands admission and he truly loves this college. I have seen a lot of changes over the years and one of the most significant is our exciting curriculum EXP@CSC.” Uhlmeyer believes the most important part of searching for a college is visiting colleges and meeting the actual people that you will be spending the next four years with."

"Visit every campus that is a possibility," she said. "You cannot get a true feel for a college from just a brochure." Uhlmeyer lives in her hometown of Canton, Mo., with her husband, Stan, and their three children: Lance, Kara and Rachel.
