C-SC has taken the typical 15-week semester, and divided it into a 12-week term and a 3-week term, allowing for more experiential learning while students focus on fewer classes at once.
Graduate-level research is available to our students as early as their freshman year, including groundbreaking work on the Human Genome Project with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
With more than 50 student organizations, eight Greek organizations and 17 varsity sports, our student population has plenty of opportunities to lead.
C-SC takes learning out of the classroom and into the world. During the 3-week term, students can travel with their whole class, including professors, and not worry about any other classes.
"While in Turkey, I had an epiphany moment, and I knew then that I wanted to be an archeologist for my career," Dylan Green, history.
C-SC recreates real world environments under controlled situations for students to experience unique and educational conditions unlike anything else.
"Everyone in the class was assigned a role that would have had a part in the real Crusades, from the king of a nation, to the nephew of the king, to ordinary citizens like merchants," Dylan Green, history.
