Richard (Rick) Clodfelter ’89 is currently the director of content acquisitions and co-productions of Cartoon Network & Boomerang where he works with creative and passionate people who get excited about making great TV for kids.  Rick states, “It’s always fun to be reminded of what it’s like to be a kid,” then going on to say, “I now have the responsibility to make good decisions for millions of kids every day.”  According to Rick, Culver-Stockton helped shape his life because it was small enough for him to achieve his goals and large enough to learn about humility, “C-SC is a small liberal arts school with a big view and an even larger influence.” Some of his fondest memories include the time he spent in the Fine Arts department and hanging out with lifelong friends.

While attending C-SC, Rick was a member of (and participated in) Lambda Chi Alpha, Concert Choir, theater productions and was a 2007 recipient of the C-SC Education Hall of Excellence.  When asked what is one the most exciting aspects of his career, he explains, “I now have the responsibility to make good decisions for millions of kids every day.”

Rick’s goals include continuing his career in children’s television and getting married. He and Rich Murray, his partner of 7 years, currently reside in Brooklyn, N.Y.
