John Dougherty, D.O., FAOASM ’88 is currently the chairman of family medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. While attending C-SC Dougherty was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha, football, tennis, concert choir, Theta Alpha Chi, class president freshman – junior year and student body president his senior year. After graduating from C-SC, Dougherty went on to medical school at KCUMB ’92, completed his residency at University of North Texas – Family Medicine and finished his fellowship at KCUMB/Med Center of Independence – Sports Medicine. He currently lives in Kansas City, Mo., with his wife Sara.
