Track and Field sign Thrower for next season

Culver-Stockton College track and field coach Doug Savage has announced that Randy Heady has signed a letter of intent to attend school and participate for the Wildcats, beginning with the 2012-13 school year.
Heady, thrower from Fredericktown, Mo. (Fredericktown HS / Mineral Area CC), earned all-conference honors at Fredericktown during his senior season after winning the conference shot put title. He also was the district champion and was named all-district, all-region and a member of the Missouri Elite.
Heady posted a personal best of 50 feet, 10 inches during his high school days. In the discus, Heady posted a distance of 145 feet.
The Wildcats are in the midst of the 2012 outdoor season and are scheduled to participate in the Central Methodist Easter Invitational on Friday, April 6, in Fayette, Mo.
