C-SC ranked as a leading college in terms of value - U.S. News and World Report has awarded Culver-Stockton College a fifth place rank on the 2014 Best Value Schools list, in the Midwest regional colleges category. This ranking is based on the College’s overall rank by USNWR, as well as the 2012-2013 net cost of attendance for a student who receives the average level of need-based financial aid. USNWR ranked Culver-Stockton as the 34th best regional college in the Midwest in September 2013. Only 15 colleges in the Midwest were ranked in the Best Value report.

100 Seasons of Men’s Basketball - The return of the men’s basketball program to the national spotlight in the 2012-13 school year was the perfect prelude to the 100th season of the hoops program during the 2013-14 campaign.
Major overhaul planned for C-SC’s energy systems
- Culver-Stockton College has secured a $3.9 million performance contract to implement energy-efficient improvements on campus.
President Richard Valentine announces retirement
- Richard Valentine, the 25th president of Culver-Stockton College, announced Nov. 15, 2013, that he will retire effective June 30, 2014. Valentine has been president of the College since 2009 and served as the first alumnus president in the 160-year history.
