Spring 2015, 3-Week Travel Study

Study the transition of the Costa Rican economy.
- Travel for seven days in Costa Rica includes visits to the capital of San Jose, the Arenal Region and Guanacaste.
- Costa Rica is one of the world’s most progressive in its efforts to save the earth’s endangered rain forests. We will visit with management of Inbioparque established by the National Institute of Biodiversity in San Jose.
- Costa Rica is known for its coffee plantations, and we will visit the Coffee Britt, where the owners will explain the operations of a coffee plantation that is more than a century old.
- Another highlight of Costa Rica is its amazing volcanoes. We will visit three volcanoes including the Arenal volcano, and meet with management of the Baldi Hot Springs.
- Our visit will conclude in Guanacaste and the beautiful coast, where we will visit several businesses
