Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Musical Theatre with an Emphasis in Theatre

Do you see your future on the musical theatre stage or in graduate school? Then we recommend the Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Musical Theatre with a Theatre Emphasis. You will need to complete at least 44 hours of theatre courses, including musical theatre history; as well as six semester hours of dance courses; 22 hours of music courses, including music theory, aural skills, and piano and participation in one of the vocal performance ensembles; eight semesters of private voice lessons; the Experiential Course and the Capstone Course.
