Campus Beautification & Paving Upgrades - Click to View Photos
A welcoming first impression for prospective students and families is critical. The overall look of a college is very important in the college selection process. Many upgrades to campus have already been made, allowing students and visitors to enjoy C-SC's beautiful campus and views.

The early success of this component of the campaign has facilitated an exciting remodel of the Carl Johann Memorial Library, including a new circulation desk, new carpeting, additional technology and increased computer lab space, along with a tutoring and academic support center. The east wing of the building, named in honor of Shirley Hazelton '69, houses our new coffee house, The Lab, which provides a relaxing place for students to meet and study.

Recreation & Wellness Center

The addition of a recreation and wellness center was listed by students as the number one priority for facility growth at C-SC. Students presented a request for such a facility to the board of trustees, citing a central location for the campus community to work-out through the use of exercise equipment and improved intramural space would enrich the overall student experience. The addition of this center will be instrumental to enrollment growth and student retention. Fundraising progress is now being enhanced to this future facility thanks to the challenge grant issued by the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation.

Annual Fund for Student Scholarships
The need for financial assistance is at an all-time high for C-SC students. A growing Student Scholarship Annual Fund will help to attract and retain students on "the Hill." One hundred percent of a donor's gift goes directly to help students.
