Legal Studies Resources

These tools provide reference and research support to legal studies and criminal justice students. The Legal Information Institute is a nonprofit organization based out of the Cornell Law School in Ithaca, N.Y. It publishes the law online for free and creates materials that help people understand and find the law. Westlaw Campus Research is a searchable database of legislation at the state and federal levels, and content can be browsed by topics (like bankruptcy, immigration, or intellectual property, for example), or by cases, statutes and court rules, or even proposed and enacted legislation.
