The biology minor requires completions of eight hours of core courses in botany and zoology and 10 hours of biology electives.
The chemistry minor requires completion of 19-20 hours of coursework, including two courses of general chemistry, two courses of organic chemistry, and two-three hours of chemistry electives. Biology majors and strongly encouraged to minor in chemistry, which provides a solid foundation for students planning a career in industrial manufacturing or research and/or preparation for the MCAT or PCAT to be accepted into professional programs or graduate school.
The mathematics minor requires completion of 18 hours of mathematics coursework including 12 hours in calculus and another six hours of math electives.
