Pre-Physical Therapy
Culver-Stockton's pre-physical therapy program provides practical skills and useful knowledge for students who want a career in preventing, treating and rehabilitating injuries as a professional physical therapist.
This pre-professional program prepares students to meet entry requirements for earning a master's degree in physical therapy at an accredited school. Through the C-SC program, you will acquire a strong background in liberal arts as well as coursework in psychology, biology, physics, statistics, chemistry, and physical education.
Most C-SC pre-physical therapy students earn a bachelor's of science degree in biology. You will experience training in both the classroom and through an internship with a physical therapist mentor and volunteer work. Students work closely with their faculty advisor to learn more about available master's degree programs and course requirements. The C-SC program is flexible and can be adapted to meet the requirements on various schools of physical therapy. Physical therapy applicants are advised to take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) during the fall of their senior year.
