Canton, Missouri

The campus of Culver-Stockton College is nestled in a rural setting along the banks of the Mississippi River in the town of Canton, Mo. Both the campus and surrounding community are located in very safe areas. Our students' safety and security is very important to all of the C-SC community and we work closely with other area agencies such as the Canton Police Department to provide a high level of security.

Safety Department

Our Safety Department includes a director, assistant director and full-time safety officers. Our officers are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the academic year. Any student may request a safety escort across campus at any time by calling our extension at 6300 and an officer will walk you to your destination.

Policy on Sexual Misconduct

Culver-Stockton College (the “College”) is committed to providing an environment free of discrimination and administers its academic programs and extracurricular programs without regard to race, color, creed or religion, gender, marital status, national origin, military status, disability, age, or any other characteristic protected by law. Title IX requires all higher education institutions that receive federal financial assistance not to discriminate on the basis of sex in our educational programs. In keeping with that commitment, the College maintains a strict policy prohibiting unlawful harassment, sexual misconduct, dating violence, and stalking or otherwise. Any inquiries concerning Title IX can be addressed to the Title IX Coordinator or to the United States Department of Education Office for Civil Rights (OCR).

Facilities Access

Most non-residential campus facilities are open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the exception of the Carl Johann Memorial Library and the Gladys Crown Center, which have extended weekday and weekend access. Residential buildings are open to residents and their guests except for closure during winter break. Many of our residence halls have a staff member serving as a Residence Hall Director and all residence halls have student Resident Assistants (RA's) who can provide valuable support to our students. Our RA's are carefully screened before hiring and undergo rigorous training at the beginning of each academic year.
