C-SC Wind Ensemble offers concert in conjunction with Highland High School

CANTON, Mo. – The Culver-Stockton College Wind Ensemble, directed by Trent Hollinger, C-SC assistant professor of music and director of bands, will perform a joint concert with the Highland High School Wind Ensemble on Sunday, February 28, at 3 p.m. in the Alexander Campbell Auditorium, located in the Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Center on the C-SC Campus.
This concert features principal trumpet player for the Quincy Symphony Orchestra and C-SC adjunct trumpet professor, Dr. Aren Van Houzen, on piccolo trumpet. The C-SC Wind Ensemble will perform Antonio Vivaldi’s “Concerto in D Major,” transcribed for wind ensemble by Trent Hollinger, alongside Van Housen.
The Highland High School Wind Ensemble, directed by Ryan Christian, will join the C-SC Wind Ensemble to present a final selection.
