Culver-Stockton College announced today the appointment of Kyle Trudell as Director of College Communications and New Media.
Trudell, who served as the acting director since March, joined Culver-Stockton three years ago as e-communications director working to strategize and implement the Culver-Stockton website as well as other online marketing initiatives to strengthen the college’s brand.
“We are delighted to have Kyle as leader in this important role,” said Richard Valentine, president of the college. “His leadership during the last three months was instrumental in our decision to promote him to full-time directorship.
“Our curriculum is new and different, and Kyle’s experience and creativity in both traditional media and emerging online channels make him a great fit.”
Kyle’s management and design experience includes marketing in all major media with extensive expertise in online marketing and interactive branding. In his career, he has held key roles in management, design, and marketing strategy in the publishing, online marketing, and telecommunications industries.
“I have been so impressed with the vision of Culver-Stockton College,” said Trudell. “We’re taking the college experience in a new direction and I’m excited to be a part of something so innovative and different.”
Trudell earned a bachelor of fine arts degree with an emphasis in studio arts from Quincy University. Kyle, his wife Sandy, and their daughter Taylor live in Canton.
