C-SC Chamber Choirs to perform at St. Charles Christian Church

CANTON, Mo. - The Culver-Stockton College Concert and Chamber choirs will be travelling to St. Charles, Mo., on Oct. 17, 2010 to sing at the 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services at St. Charles Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). The Chamber Choir will be part of the early service, offering lighter and more upbeat sacred literature in a contemporary style. The Concert Choir will contribute to the traditional service at 10:30 with an introspective anthem followed by a rousing spiritual. The choirs will be under the direction of Dr. Kevin Baker, C-SC associate professor of music.
St. Charles Christian Church is located at 3337 Rue Royale in St. Charles, Mo. This offering by the Culver-Stockton College choirs serves as part of institutional outreach. Culver-Stockton College is affiliated with the Christian Church, Disciples of Christ.
