C-SC theatre production shines new light on a classic fairy tale

CANTON, Mo. – The Culver-Stockton Theatre Department will shine new light on a classic fairy tale with its production of Once Upon a Mattress.

The musical is based on the classic story of “The Princess and The Pea.” But Once Upon a Mattress puts a new spin on the timeless favorite, with side-splitting shenanigans and wonderful songs. If you thought you knew the story of "The Princess and The Pea," you may be in for a surprise!

The musical play will be staged Nov. 5 and 6 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 7 at 3 p.m. in the Alexander Campbell Auditorium on the C-SC campus. Ticket prices are adults, $8 and students, $5.
