C-SC selected to host high school art conference

CANTON, Mo. – On Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011 Culver-Stockton College will host the Clarence Cannon Conference High School Art Show. This event will bring more than 300 talented high school artists to the C-SC campus to showcase and present their works.
Each school within the conference will display their best student artwork in the Alexander Campbell Auditorium. Students will be competing for Best of Show as well as 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons in the competitive art show. Various art workshops will be offered throughout the day in Herrick Foundation Center.
Schools attending the Feb. 16 conference include: Brookfield High School, Centralia High School, Clark County High School, Highland High School, Louisiana High School, Macon High School, Mark Twain High School, Monroe City High School, Palmyra High School and South Shelby High School.
