Line-up announced for 2011 Hillstock

CANTON, Mo. – The soulful sounds of Jared Mahone will electrify the stage during the 2011 Hillstock presented by Culver-Stockton College Campus Programming Counsel. The day-long concert event will take place Saturday, May 14 on the campus of Culver-Stockton. Jared Mahone’s high-energy live performance will be just one of the featured acts during the concert.

Additional performers include, Brett Hite, Cheeks McGee, Marcus Barnett and Chinua Hawk. This year’s line-up will also feature performances by four current Culver-Stockton students. Jerica Exum, senior arts management major from Chicago Heights, Ill.; Kirsten Sindelar, sophomore musical theatre major from Sherrard, Ill.; Peter Rodriguez, senior religion major from Youngtown, Ariz.; Beau Becraft, senior media communication major from Memphis, Mo.; and Josh Kollitz, sophomore music major from Grant City, Mo., will also be featured acts. Sindelar, Rodriguez, Becraft and Kollitz were selected to perform during a campus-wide talent competition. Hillstock will be hosted by Kyle Trudell, C-SC director of communications; Travis Rosenthal, C-SC residential life area coordinator; and Craig Sparks, owner and operator of Quincy Drum School.

Hillstock is sponsored by the Culver-Stockton College Campus Programming Council, and will be held Saturday, May 14 from 3 to 11 p.m. on the C-SC campus. Hillstock is free and open to the public.
