Duel on the Hill winners announced

CANTON, Mo. - Culver-Stockton College’s Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Chapter hosted the 4th Annual Duel on the Hill case study competition on Oct. 6, 2011. Duel on the Hill is a case study competition written and coordinated by Culver-Stockton SIFE students. It assists high school students in the development of marketing, economic, team-building, presentation and personal finance skills.
Eight teams competed with the top three teams receiving trophies. The winners include: 1st place – Southeastern High School (team one), 2nd place – Central High School - Camp Point and 3rd place – Warsaw High School (team two). King and queen honors were awarded for outstanding individual performances. Those recipients include: Geoffery Stout, Southeastern High School (team two), King of the 2011 Duel on the Hill; and Karina Witt, Central High School – Camp Point, Queen of the 2011 Duel of the Hill.
The 4th Annual Duel on the Hill continued the Harvest Fest Challenge tradition. Fall Harvest, sponsored by WGEM and County Market, is an initiative focused toward feeding the hungry within the tri-state area. All items go directly toward local Salvation Army locations to meet the daily needs of those less fortunate. Warsaw High School won the Fall Harvest Fest Challenge for the third consecutive year.
