C-SC Financial Services Office hosts FAFSA assistance night at Highland High School

CANTON, Mo. -- The Culver-Stockton College Student Financial Services Office will host a FAFSA assistance night Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Highland High School located at 21504 State Highway 6, Lewistown, Mo. This community service event is free and open to the public.
Parents, current and prospective college students, as well as all high school students planning to attend any college are encouraged to attend. Members of the Culver-Stockton Student Financial Services office will be on hand to answer questions and assist in the filing of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). “This will be a great time for you to get your questions answered and to ensure the FAFSA is completed and turned in to your child’s college on time,” explains Tina Wiseman, C-SC director of financial aid.
Those attending should bring the following:
- 2011 tax and W2 forms
- Personal identification numbers (parent and student)
oYou must apply for your FAFSA PIN at www.pin.ed.gov
o A PIN is needed for both the student and parent
- Current balances of cash, saving and checking accounts
- Net worth of investments for both student and parent.
Culver-Stockton College will also host a FAFSA assistance night on Wednesday, March 14 in the Herrick Foundation Center on the C-SC campus. This event is also free and open to the public. For more information call (573) 288-6307 or e-mail financialaid@culver.edu.
