C-SC student named LEAP Student of the Month

CANTON, Mo. – Culver-Stockton College congratulates Danielle Harper, C-SC senior accounting and finance major, for recently being named LEAP Student of the Month. LEAP is the student initiative of the Missouri Society of CPAs.

Harper, who was nominated by her Culver-Stockton College professors, is president of C-SC’s Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) student chapter. She is also a member of Sigma Beta Delta Business Honor Society; Culver-Stockton women's varsity basketball team; Phi Eta Sigma; and Alpha Chi National College Honor Scholarship Society. She is also listed in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

In her nomination, C-SC Lecturer in Accounting Julie Straus said of Harper, “She is ambitious, motivated, always very well prepared, and a wonderful student to have in class. Danielle has maintained a 4.0 GPA while serving as president of the IMA Student Chapter, and participating in our women's varsity basketball team. As president of the IMA Student Chapter, she has gone above and beyond to make sure the organization is successful. Danielle is the type of student you can always count on to make sure the task gets done well, and on time."
