Talented Culver-Stockton musical faculty members take the stage

CANTON, Mo. – The talents of Culver-Stockton College’s music faculty will be on display as they present a Faculty Recital Saturday, March 24 beginning at 3 p.m.
The recital will feature, Assistant Professor of Music Trent Hollinger, soprano saxophone, and Bob March ‘58, piano, performing Sonata for Oboe and Piano, op. 185 (1962) by Francis Poulenc ; Professor of Music Anda Zirnitis, piano, and Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Elliot Jones, piano, performing Sonata for four-hands, K. V. 19d (1765) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; Professor of Music Carol Mathieson, soprano, and Adjunct Professor of Clarinet Pam Potter, clarinet, performing Of All The Birds That I Do Know, Flow My Tears and Ho, Who Comes Here? by Gordon Jacob; and Professor of Music Tom Polett, trombone, and Elliot Jones, narrator, performing Monolog (1973) by Magdalene Schauss-Flake.
The Faculty Recital will be held in Merillat Recital Hall inside the Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Center on the campus of Culver-Stockton College. The performance is free and open to the public.
