Culver-Stockton to launch first comprehensive campaign in two decades
Thursday, May 03, 2012
CANTON, Mo. -- This is a great moment in time for Culver-Stockton College as we look forward to officially launching the first comprehensive campaign in two decades. Unanimously endorsed by the board of trustees at its May 2011 meeting, the campaign actually has been in a traditional silent fundraising phase for the past year.
A few fast facts about the campaign include its scope and scale of three years and a goal of $10.4 million that centers on areas impacting student recruitment and retention. Its core components include a recreation and wellness center, renovations to the Carl Johann Memorial Library, endowment growth, a more robust annual giving program for student scholarships, and campus beautification projects, including paving and parking.
This is an amazing opportunity to move Culver-Stockton forward in new ways by enriching the student experience and strengthening the college’s financial position for the future. Please join us for the celebratory kickoff of the campaign – A vision for our future – Thursday, May 10, 2012, in the Carl Johann Memorial Library (East Wing), 4:00 p.m.
