Culver-Stockton Welcomes New Assistant Director of Alumni Programs

CANTON, Mo. -- The Office of Advancement and Alumni Programs would like to extend a warm welcome to Katherine Behrens, Culver-Stockton College’s new assistant director of alumni programs.

Behrens has experience in marketing and development in both the public and not-for-profit business sectors. Before joining Culver-Stockton College, she worked at Wells Fargo Advisors as a marketing associate where she hosted numerous client appreciation events, created marketing campaigns and published a client newsletter, while managing the office’s in-kind sponsorships.
She is excited to share her creative ideas and build on the foundation of Culver-Stockton College’s Advancement and Alumni Programs. “I want to use my skills and experience to design events that will bring alumni back to campus again and again!” states Behrens. She will be responsible for production of alumni newsletters and the planning of special events, including reunion programs, satellite events and Homecoming.

Behrens is a Midwest native, originally from Hannibal, Missouri. She graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, with a bachelor’s degree in art history and business. Prior to returning to Missouri, Behrens developed funding programs and planned events for the Nasher Sculpture Center and the Dallas Contemporary art museums.
