Position
Kali Powell joined the Culver-Stockton faculty in August 2012. She teaches athletic training courses with topics such as basic concepts in rehabilitation, introduction to athletic training, general medical conditions and evidence based practice in health professions.
She also serves as an assistant athletic trainer and is responsible for the daily care of the men's and women's soccer teams in the fall and the softball team in the spring. Her daily responsibilities include treatment and evaluation of orthopedic injuries along with general medical conditions.
Powell previously worked as a student athletic trainer at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, and as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Lincoln, Neb. She is certified with the National Athletic Trainers Association and licensed with the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.
Powell lives in Quincy, Ill.
