About the Program
The Culver-Stockton College music program provides students of promise an engagement with artistic expression that reflects the integrity of the human spirit. For over 100 years, the music program has encouraged performers, educators and students to reach for their highest potential. Our music faculty offer a wide range of expertise and specialization and give students the personal attention they deserve. The department is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). Graduates of the department have gone on to distinguished professional careers as educators and performers.
What Makes the Program Distinctive?
This professional degree is for students seeking a career in elementary and secondary school music education. Students select an emphasis in vocal music, instrumental music or a dual tract. Students should be aware that this degree has specific course requirements that need to begin during the freshmen year of enrollment.

After C-SC
Students hold positions in elementary and secondary schools throughout the country. Graduates also open their own private studios, hold church music positions and various positions in the music industry.
