About the Program
Culver-Stockton College offers a joint Bachelor of Science in nursing program in partnership with Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences, which is located in Quincy Illinois. This is a 4-year program where students work on general education courses and nursing pre-requisite courses during the first year and then participate in nursing classes and clinical experiences at Blessing-Rieman College and Blessing Hospital the second, third and fourth year.
What Makes the Program Distinctive?
Blessing-Rieman College has a state-of-the-art Simulation Center with nine simulated manikins who have the same physical features that real humans do such as breathing, blinking eyes, heart and lungs sounds, giving birth to a baby and more! Blessing-Rieman is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), has low student to faculty ratio of 12:1 and students get to participate in over 800 hours of clinical experiences.
Beyond the Classroom
Student-run Clubs: Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences Student Nursing Organization
Professional Experience: Students participate in clinical experiences at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois as well as other community agencies.
Summer Internships: Full-time, paid internships are available to students the summer after completion of their junior year at Blessing Hospital.
Our graduates have been accepted and graduated from professional schools such as medicine, pharmacy, veterinary, dentistry, PA, OT and other related graduate schools.
Average NCLEX is 95% over the past five years.
Average placement is 98%
