People Will Always Need You

You will study and develop your skills to work in a legal environment upon graduation or be ready to enter law school to earn a JD degree. In our hands-on courses, you will practice legal writing, negotiating, mediation, and courtroom skills. You will have the opportunity to work in a legal setting before graduation through our internship program.

The C-SC Difference

Our unique courtroom/classroom/legal library and adjoining research lab provide you with a self-contained facility to develop and practice your skills. Our students consistently win top attorney and top witness awards at National Mock Trial Competitions. Additionally, our Mediation Teams consistently place in the top 10 percent at National Mediation Tournaments. Finally, we have a 3+3 agreement with the University of Missouri Columbia School of Law that enables students to complete both their undergraduate degree and their law degree in just six years, rather than the normal seven-year plan.

The legal studies program provided me with an educational foundation that enabled me to be successful in law school and beyond. Additionally, the program gave me the opportunity to form lasting relationships with my fellow legal studies students, many of whom also became attorneys.
