EDsmart.org ranks C-SC among top 10 online schools in Missouri
Culver-Stockton College was ranked among the top 10 best online colleges and universities in Missouri for 2020, according to a ranking done by EDsmart.org, a Utah-based corporation that provides college rankings, reviews and ratings.
CANTON, Mo. — Culver-Stockton College was ranked among the top 10 best online colleges and universities in Missouri for 2020, according to a ranking done by EDsmart.org, a Utah-based corporation that provides college rankings, reviews and ratings according to the latest U.S. Department of Education data and other reputable sources for higher education institution data.
Culver-Stockton was ranked No. 10 in the state with a score of 94.3 on a 100-point scale. Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo., was ranked No. 1, followed by Northwest Missouri State in Maryville, Mo., and Webster University in St. Louis.
Schools were ranked in four categories:
- Affordability (net price)
- Student Satisfaction (retention rate)
- Academic Quality (four-year graduation rate)
- Student Outcome (the median annual earning of former students one year after graduation; only data from students who received federal financial aid is included in the calculation)
U.S. News and World Report recently ranked Culver-Stockton at No. 33 among Best Colleges in the Midwest Region and at No. 18 among Best Value Schools in the Midwest Region for 2020. Zippia, a national website with career information for job seekers, recently ranked C-SC as the top college in Missouri for graduates getting jobs.
Culver-Stockton has more than 1,000 students and offers more than 80 majors and minors. C-SC’s unique academic calendar allows students to focus on travel study classes, internships and other study programs during the final three weeks of each semester.
