Students meet with Quincy-area scholarship donors at luncheon

Several Culver-Stockton College students had a chance to meet the benefactors who provided their scholarship during the Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon on Oct. 17 in the J.E. & L.E. Mabee Recreation and Wellness Center.

CANTON, Mo. — Several Culver-Stockton College students had a chance to meet the benefactors who provided their scholarship during the Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon on Oct. 17 in the J.E. & L.E. Mabee Recreation and Wellness Center.

Scholarships awarded from the Quincy, Ill., area were:

• The Refreshment Services Pepsi Annual Scholarship

Recipient: Lori Leathers, a freshman nursing student from Cairo, Mo.

• The John F. ’72 and Barbara (Richards) Tripp ’70 Endowed Scholarship

Recipients: Saylor Drawe, a junior elementary education major from Centennial, Mo., and Agustin Mosquera, a senior business administration and finance major from Buenos Aires, Argentina

• The Charles E. Barnum Endowed Journalism/Communication Scholarship

Recipients: Nicholas Luciani , a senior sports communication major from Georgetown, Ontario, Canada, and Rakim Weddington, a junior sports communication major from Hemet, Calif.
