Fine Art Talent Areas
Fine Art talent scholarships are available to all students, regardless of the major you are pursuing. An Admission Counselor will help you connect to faculty in your talent area who will work with you to set up an audition or portfolio review. Students who are offered and accept a fine arts scholarship will have participation requirements, but the scholarships are renewable each year at C-SC.
Art
Our Art Department hosts gallery exhibits, features notable guests and workshops, and students are award winners in student and professional art shows. Students work in a variety of mediums tailored to their abilities and interests. 2D, 3D, and graphic design opportunities are available to all students.
Music
Our Music Department provides a wide variety of solo, chamber, and ensemble opportunities for all students. We have a strong Choral and Band tradition at Culver-Stockton, ranging from non-auditioned groups to auditioned ensembles that also go on annual tours. Choral Ensembles include Collegiate Choir, Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and A Cappella groups. Instrumental Ensembles include Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and our Contemporary and Chamber groups.
Theatre
Our Theatre Department puts on a variety of productions and musicals throughout the academic year featured on our main stage and in our black box theatre. Our students and our main stage productions are invited to perform and compete at theatre festivals. Performance, design, and technical theatre opportunities are available to all students.
