About Commencement

Culver-Stockton College has formal commencement ceremonies each year during the last week of the spring semester. To participate in the ceremony, the student must be in good academic standing, the student must have completed degree requirements, or the student must have 12 or fewer hours remaining to complete their undergraduate program or 6 or fewer hours remaining to complete their graduate program at the time of commencement exercises, AND the remaining requirements must be scheduled during the immediately following summer sessions. A specific plan on how the student will complete remaining degree requirements must be on file in the Registrar's Office.

Per institutional policy, students with outstanding balances will be unable to participate (walk) in the commencement ceremony, or receive their diploma until the account is settled in full.

A $150 graduation fee is charged to the student's account during the fall semester of the academic year in which degree requirements are completed. The non-refundable fee covers the cost of cap and gown and other graduation activities and expenses. The fee is charged to all students that are graduating.

For immediate questions regarding commencement, please contact the Registrar's Office at registrar@culver.edu or 573-288-6000, ext. 6330.
