Background
Cindy Freels began with Culver-Stockton as the Senior Assistant to the President in March 2015. Along with assisting the President, she is a member of President’s cabinet, she assists the Chairman of the Board, and she coordinates meetings and communication for the Board of Trustees. Cindy is currently serving her third President at Culver-Stockton. In 2020, she was honored with the President’s Award for Exemplary Service.
Prior to working at Culver-Stockton, Cindy spent 18 years as the Executive Assistant at Transitions of Western Illinois, in Quincy. She began her career in Quincy at St. Mary Hospital, Blessing Hospital, and Newman Clinic.
Cindy lives in Quincy with her wife, Mary. They have four adult children and six grandchildren. She enjoys cooking, traveling, doing jigsaw puzzles, and growing flowers on her patio.
