Position

Dr. Katie Marney joined the Culver-Stockton faculty in July 2014. She is the director of the Carl Johann Memorial Library, and she teaches a courses on modern world history.

She previously taught at the School of Information at University of Arizona in Tucson, Ariz., and at Pima Community College Northwest in Tucson, Ariz.

Marney completed in 2020 a three-year term on the MOBIUS Library Consortium Board of Directors, serving as treasurer for one year. She has been a member of the Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing, and the Organization for the Study of Non-Traditional book Publishing.

She lives in Canton, Mo., with her husband, Dylan, and their son.
