Background

Leanne is an experienced educator with over 30 years in public education. Her career spans positions as a paraprofessional, Title I Reading and Math teacher, and elementary classroom teacher across Kindergarten, 3rd, and 4th grades—including 26 years at Canton R-V Elementary and 3 years at Palmyra Elementary.

In her current role as Recruitment & Retention Coordinator in Graduate & Professional Studies, Leanne is focused on growing Culver’s online graduate programs by fostering partnerships with school districts and business organizations. She specializes in personalized outreach, as well as engaging prospective and current graduate students to support their professional growth.

Leanne lives with her husband of 34 years, George. She is a proud mother to three grown sons, two of whom are Culver alumni, and “LeaLea” to two granddaughters, Ila and Stella. In her free time, she enjoys reading, thrifting, traveling, St Louis Blues hockey, and spending time with her family, two Siamese cats (Louie and Holly) and Saint Bernard puppy (Witten).
