Background

Troy Patterson started his career as an Elementary and High School P.E. teacher at Revere C-3 and Monroe City R-1. He worked in that role for 12 years. 10 of those years he only taught elementary P.E. at Monroe City. During his time at both schools, he coached a variety of sports at both the middle school and high school level, including: softball, basketball, and track. After that, he went on to be Monroe City’s Athletic Director for 4 years. From there, Troy started his administrative career at Paris R-II as he was their Elementary Principal for 3 years, and then he finished the next 10 years of his career as Monroe City’s Middle School Principal. Troy recently retired from public education this past year, and this will be his first year at Culver-Stockton as a lecturer in Physical Education.

Troy earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Culver-Stockton College, his Masters of Science in Athletic Administration from William-Woods University, and his Education Specialist degree from William Woods University.

Mr. Patterson is excited for his new role as a lecturer of Physical Education, and he looks forward to working with the students and staff at C-SC.
