The Major You Build
An individualized major is designed with you working with a faculty advisor to create a degree plan based around a unifying theme, a social issue, or academic area of interest. This degree is for you if you have an interest or career objective may not be met with our existing majors.
The C-SC Difference
You will create a degree plan with existing courses that brings together different disciplines into a cohesive major to prepare you for the career you have in mind. Our students have selected majors such as International Business which combined courses from the business area, with a study of foreign language, an internship for an international company, and classes in international politics.
Choosing a major is such a big decision, especially if you have something specific in mind for your future! At Culver-Stockton, my academic advisor helped me to create my own individualized major – international marketing – by handpicking which courses would be the most beneficial. The unique 12-week + 3-week semester schedule allowed me to explore the international realm of my degree, giving me the opportunity to visit Canada & Costa Rica. The staff at C-SC was so dedicated to making my college experience perfect, that they worked with me to set up a full semester abroad in Australia. Culver-Stockton College was one of the best decisions I could have made!
