Wildcat fans can get a head start on game day with “Game Day on the Hill,” a live pregame show streaming on the Wildcat Network ahead of each Wildcat home football game.
The show features game analysis, player, and coach interviews and coverage of game-day activities on campus. Produced entirely by C-SC students, the program provides practical sports media experience for participants while keeping fans informed ahead of kickoff.
According to Ashton Ertz (Payson, Ill.), a junior sports communication major and Wildcat baseball player, the idea came from his passion for sports broadcasting and Culver-Stockton Athletics.
“As a student-athlete and sports broadcaster, I wanted to find a way to bring more excitement to Wildcat football game days while giving fans, students, alumni, and the community an inside look at the team before kickoff,” Ertz said.
The next live broadcast will take place ahead of the Homecoming football game Saturday, Oct. 17. You can tune in at 11:30 a.m. on the Wildcat Network (via the Heart Conference Network’s site) at www.heartconferencenetwork.com/culver-stockton/.
