Palmer, President, and Dr. Lauren Schellenberger, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, along with Dr. Jay Hoffman, Acting Dean for Graduate and Professional Studies, are proud to announce the launch of a new graduate program at Culver-Stockton College. The Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) is designed to develop the knowledge and skills needed to become an exceptional professional advocate in the field of mental and behavioral health counseling and child advocacy networks.

Senior Art and Design Capstone Open at Mabee Art Gallery

Culver-Stockton College is pleased to announce the Art and Design Senior Capstone Show. The Mabee Art Gallery at C-SC hosted the annual Senior Art and Design Capstone show on December 4 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Senior Show will continue on display through December 17, featuring nine students’ work, including six graphic design students and three K-12 Art Education students.

C-SC Receives $1M Gift to Assist First-Generation Students

Culver-Stockton College recently received a $1 million gift to enhance student scholarship availability for first-generation students attending the institution. The transformative donation from a long-time donor, who asked to remain anonymous, earmarked this gift for an existing endowed scholarship.

Culver-Stockton College Unveils Naming of new IDEA Center

Culver-Stockton College unveiled the newest educational building on campus on Monday, November 22, 2021 as the Johnson-Turner IDEA Center, formally announcing the official naming. The IDEA Center, an acronym for Innovation, Design, and Experiential Activities, has been named to honor two distinguished alumni and trustees Mr. Scott Johnson ‘71 and Mr. H.B. Turner ‘79 who, together, provided significant funding for the construction, build-out and furnishing of the new space along with endowment funding for ongoing activities.

C-SC hosts Mock Home Child Abuse Investigation Simulation

The Culver-Stockton College Child Advocacy Studies (CAST) program hosted a Mock Home Child Abuse Investigation Simulation for C-SC students enrolled in the Forensic Investigations of Child Maltreatment class. This mock simulation provided students with real-life scenarios of a trauma-informed professional across multiple disciplines.

Culver-Stockton College was pleased to welcome Reverend Dr. Delesslyn Kennebrew to campus on Tuesday, November 9. Kennebrew serves as the Regional Minister for Ministry Innovation in the Greater Kansas City Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). During her time on campus, Rev. Kennebrew met with student leaders representing various student organizations. She also delivered a keynote address in the evening to the C-SC community.
