Background
Lacy Chapel joined the Culver-Stockton faculty in August 2023. She is an assistant professor and teaches courses within the Health Sciences and Master of Athletic Training programs. Chapel is a certified athletic trainer and has previously provided athletic healthcare in a variety of settings since 2004. She is a current doctorate student at A.T. Still University and is expected to receive a Doctor of Athletic Training degree in December 2023. Her academic interests include sport-related concussion management and healthcare education and leadership. Chapel is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA), the Mid-America Athletic Trainers' Association, and the Missouri Athletic Trainers' Association. She holds additional certifications in Graston Technique, Blood Flow Restriction, Dry Needling, and from the NATA Leadership Academy.
Chapel lives in Quincy, IL and she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, cooking, gardening, watching sports, and playing golf.
