Background
Lindsey Knochel joined the Culver-Stockton faculty in August 2024. She teaches psychology courses such as introduction to psychology, learning theories, fundamentals of counseling, and group and family systems. She is the CAST minor facilitator and teaches courses such as child and adolescent development, perspectives of child maltreatment, forensic investigations and interventions for child maltreatment.
Knochel has worked in the mental health field since 2008. She continues to work int eh mental health field as a therapist. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of Illinois and Missouri. Knochel is a trainer for the Complex Trauma Training Consortium.
Knochel lives in Palmyra, MO. with her husband Joe. They are parents of three children. She enjoys being active outdoors and seeking adventures. Knochel is a member of the Taylor Apostolic Christian Church where she is a Sunday School Teacher.
