Tri-State Development (TSD), a leading regional economic and community development organization housed at Culver-Stockton College, is thrilled to announce the expansion of its membership to include six new counties in Southeast Iowa. The counties of Appanoose, Keokuk, Lucas, Mahaska, Monroe, and Wayne are now proud members of the Tri-State Development region. Iowa South’s president Deann DeGroot stated, “Iowa South is excited to join Tri-State Development, paving the way for a brighter future and stronger regional growth through collaboration.”

April 2024 – This year’s recipient of the prestigious Helsabeck Prize for Excellence in Teaching epitomizes the pinnacle of knowledge and proficiency in the subjects being taught. On Friday, May 19, 2024, Bank of Monticello representatives presented a $2500 gift to Culver-Stockton College President Dr. Lauren Schellenberger.

Culver-Stockton College (C-SC), a private liberal arts college offering 80 major and minor tracks, has named 184 students to the President’s List for the spring 2024 semester. The President’s List is the College’s most prestigious ranking for academic achievement.

Culver-Stockton College (C-SC), a private Christian liberal arts college offering 80 major and minor tracks, has named 173 students to the Provost’s List for the spring 2024 semester. The Provost’s List is the College’s second-highest ranking for academic achievement.

Culver-Stockton College President Dr. Lauren Schellenberger, accepted the donation from United State Bank (USB) on behalf of the College. USB Senior Vice President Carolyn Schaller and bank employees presented the check during a campus visit. As a major sponsor of the Johnson-Turner IDEA Center, representatives from USB said they are honored to fulfill the commitment made to C-SC. “This gift is a token of our continued appreciation for preparing tomorrow’s leaders to be innovative and invested in the community,” stated Schaller.
