CANTON, Mo. — Luke Blackburn, a senior physical education major from Leeds, England, received an outstanding student major award during the Missouri Society of Health and Physical Educators annual convention on Nov. 12-15 at The Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, Mo.
Colleges and universities in Missouri offering undergraduate majors in physical education, health, recreation, dance, exercise science, sport science, kinesiology or directly related fields are invited to identify someone as an outstanding future professional for recognition by MOSHAPE. The program provides an incentive for future professionals in Missouri colleges and universities to continue to strive for excellence in their professional preparation.
Bill Schneider, an assistant professor of physical education, and Will Mansfield, a junior physical education major from Derbyshire, England, also attended the convention.
