Kay Dyer, coordinator of foreign languages at Culver-Stockton College, recently was inducted into the Illinois High School Scholastic Bowl Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

CANTON, Mo. – Kay Dyer, coordinator of foreign languages at Culver-Stockton College, recently was inducted into the Illinois High School Scholastic Bowl Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

Dyer, who joined the faculty at C-SC in 2015, coached the Scholastic Bowl team at Quincy High School from 2003-15. She is credited with spearheading the effort to save the program at QHS when it was in danger of being cancelled after the 2002-03 season. She also coached the team at Quincy Junior High School for five years.

The induction ceremony for Dyer was on April 13 at the Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel & Conference Center.
