Several Culver-Stockton College students had a chance to meet the benefactors who provided their scholarship during the Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon on Oct. 17 in the J.E. & L.E. Mabee Recreation and Wellness Center gymnasium.

Students meet with Canton-area scholarship donors at luncheon

O’Brien was the recipient of the Kaye Kroeger Thomas Memorial Endowed Art Scholarship, and Hudnut was the recipient of the Dr. A.D. and Mildred Glover Endowed Scholarship. Glover was the representative for both scholarships. O’Brien and Hudnut were among several students who met the benefactors who provided their scholarship.

 

CANTON, Mo. — Several Culver-Stockton College students had a chance to meet the benefactors who provided their scholarship during the Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon on Oct. 17 in the J.E. & L.E. Mabee Recreation and Wellness Center gymnasium.

Scholarships awarded from the Canton area were:

• The Eugene Hall Annual Scholarship and the Frances Hall Annual Scholarship
Representatives: Gene and Frances Hall
Recipients: Shaquille Barker, a junior business administration major from Bridgetown, Barbados, and Dayton Robison, a senior physical education major from Nevada, Mo.

• The Marvin (Shorty) and Shirley (Nelson) Hinkle Endowed Scholarship
Representative: Shirley Hinkle.
Recipient: Andrew Schultz, a junior health science major from Ewing.

• The Josh Houchins Annual Scholarship for Communication Majors

Representative: Jeana Houchins
Recipient: Nicholas Luciani, a senior from Georgetown, Ontario, Canada

• The Mary Eunice (Stephenson) McReynolds ’45 Endowed Scholarship
Representatives: Jeff ’81 and Karla ’81 McReynolds
Recipient: Andrea Hoffman, a senior accountancy and finance major from Canton.

• The D. Larry McSpadden and Dr. Anda Zirnitis Endowed Scholarship

Recipient: Baylee Inman, a senior music education major from Cabool.

• The George and Mary Frances Nichols Endowed Scholarship and Endowed Basketball Scholarship
