Background
Sally Kintz joined the Culver-Stockton faculty in August 2019. She teaches courses with topics such as graphic design, design history, senior capstone, motion graphics, creative professional and portfolio, typography and web design.
A working designer for over 30 years, Kintz is the President of Poole Communications, a full-service advertising agency in Hannibal, MO. Founded by Kintz in 1984, Poole Communications has won multiple Telly and Communicator awards for video, print and web production.
She is a member with the Hannibal Arts Council, Hannibal Area Chamber of Commerce, Hannibal Area Economic Development, Serves on the board of Kappa Pi International Arts Honors Society, and Affordable Community Education. She is a past president of the Quincy, Illinois Rotary Club, Affordable Community Education, the Hannibal Lions Club and the Hannibal Chamber of Commerce. She has served on the board of Hannibal Community Betterment, Hannibal DREAM Initiative, and the Mark Twain Home Foundation..
She lives in Clarksville, MO, and is working toward completion of her MFA - Graphic Design degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, TN. In her spare time Kintz paints, sculpts, gardens, and reads more than 50 books a year.
