Background
Sarah Koplinski serves as Vice President for Advancement at Culver-Stockton College. She brings more than 20 years of advancement and nonprofit leadership experience, with expertise spanning major gifts, annual giving, grants, alumni engagement, stewardship, and campaign strategy.
Prior to joining Culver-Stockton College, Koplinski held several senior leadership roles at Blackburn College, including vice president for institutional advancement, interim vice president for institutional advancement, and senior director of development and foundation relations. During her tenure, she helped lead comprehensive advancement programs and played a key role in a successful five-year capital campaign that raised more than $26 million. She also built strong alumni and donor relationships and developed a robust grants program securing federal, state, and private foundation funding.
Earlier in her career, Koplinski spent 10 years with the American Cancer Society, where she managed large teams, multimillion-dollar budgets, and statewide fundraising initiatives. She also served as the first lay director of development for The Core Collective (formerly St. Vincent Home for Children) in Florissant, MO.
Koplinski earned a bachelor's degree in public administration and political science, with a minor in speech communications, from Blackburn College, and has completed advanced training in fundraising management and federal grants administration. She and her husband, Trent, have been married for 26 years and have two children.
